Half-Day Tour (Choose your option)

Opti on 1:

Hoi An – Countryside – Hai Van Pass – Da Nang Coastal Road – Hoi An

Itinerary

Perfect for travelers short on time or those who prefer a shorter ride, this half-day tour showcases some of Central Vietnam’s most spectacular scenery without a full day journey.

Leave Hoi An through the peaceful countryside of Dien Ban before winding your way up the southern side of the legendary Hai Van Pass.

Stop at the secluded Hanging Rock lookout, then continue to the summit to take in the panoramic views over Da Nang Bay and Lang Co.

Explore the restored historic border gate that once marked the frontier between the Đại Việt and Champa kingdoms during the 14th and 15th centuries, before beginning the descent into Da Nang.

Return to Hoi An along the city’s scenic coastal road, following Nguyễn Tất Thành and the coastline south, completing a relaxed ride that combines stunning landscapes, fascinating history, and one of Vietnam’s most iconic roads.

Option 2:

Lady Buddha Monkey Mountain & Son Tra Peninsula Half-Day Explorer

Hoi An – Da Nang – Linh Ung Pagoda – Lady Buddha – Son Tra Peak – Scenic Peninsula Loop – Hoi An

Itinerary

Discover the natural beauty of Son Tra Peninsula on a relaxed half-day ride combining spectacular coastal scenery, mountain roads and cultural landmarks.

Travel from Hoi An to Da Nang before climbing into the lush rainforest of Son Tra Peninsula. Visit Linh Ung Pagoda and admire the magnificent 67-metre Lady Buddha statue, which overlooks Da Nang Bay and has become one of Central Vietnam’s most recognisable landmarks.

Continue to Son Tra Peak, approximately 650 metres above sea level, where breath taking panoramic views stretch across Da Nang, the coastline and the surrounding mountains. Along the way, stop at several scenic lookouts and keep an eye out for the peninsula’s unique wildlife, including the rare red-shanked douc langur, often described as one of the world’s most beautiful primates.

Rather than retracing your route, descend through another side of the peninsula before returning to Hoi An, completing a scenic loop that showcases one of Vietnam’s most beautiful coastal mountain roads.

Option 3:

Hoi An Countryside Discovery Half-Day Tour

Hoi An – Thu Bon River – Rural Villages – Duck Farm – Rice Fields – Hoi An

Itinerary

Escape the crowds and discover the side of Hoi An that most visitors never see.

Cross the Thu Bon River and explore the quiet country roads that wind through traditional villages, emerald-green rice paddies and peaceful farming communities. This is the Vietnam many people imagine before they arrive—water buffalo grazing in the fields, farmers tending their crops and animals, children riding home from school and locals going about their daily lives. It’s an authentic glimpse into rural Vietnam, far removed from the busy tourist attractions.

Spend time at a working duck farm, where you’ll see the entire process from incubation and hatching through to raising the ducks. Meet the farm animals, learn how the farm operates, and enjoy a unique experience that is both educational and entertaining.

Continue along quiet backroads through some of Hoi An’s most picturesque countryside before returning to town with a genuine appreciation of the landscapes, people and traditions that make this region so special.

For many of our guests, this is the Vietnam they came hoping to find.
