Traveling through the Vietnamese countryside, we will first see many rice paddies and other agriculture activitives. You will be able to cool off in a rainforest stream, and continue on to explore Vietnam’s pineapple plantations, where sampling the fruit will be encouraged.
You will begin to ride on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, the major supply link for Vietnamese soldiers during the American war. You will have your first opportunity to talk the Vietnamese hill-tribe people. You will sleep in a simple hotel.
Travel through the Lo Xo mountain pass through a tropical rain forest; enjoy the best cup of coffee grown and brewed in Vietnam and visit the hill-tribe people of Ka Tu. Immerse yourself in the rich economic agricultural center of Vietnam. Roam working coffee and rubber tree plantations.
Visit former battle fields of recent war in Dak To and Tan Canh. Tour KonTum town, visiting the old wooden Catholic Church, and view the unique French Architecture. Cross the 290 m suspension bridge to visit the KonKtu village of the Bahnar people. End your day viewing a beautiful sunset while swinging on the suspension bridge. You will sleep in a simple hotel.
While traveling Pleiku city, you will visit a coffee nursery to see a coffee sprouting. Watch a Vietnamese family cooking rice wine. Sampling the wine is your choice. Refresh yourself in the mysterious old vocanic crater lake called Sea Lake. We will see a pepper plant farm and see spectacular views continuing on to Buon Ma Thuot. You will sleep in the Eden Hotel.
Photograph the mighty waterfalls called Draysap (smoking) and Gia Long (Vietnamese king) in the lush primitive rainforest. Ride to the largest natural lake in the Central Highlands where you will be invited to explore the culture, traditions and custom of the hill-tribe villagers of the M’Nong. Observe their long houses on stilts, dugout canoes, use of their elephants and other daily activities. The sleeping arrangement is optional on this night. You have the choice of a home stay in a traditional long house, a modern long house, or a resort. (The cost of each choice is included in the fee).
Enjoy your last day in the historic mountains of DaLat; visit the elephants, waterfalls and a silk worm factory. Silk products are for sale here. Stroll in the beautiful flowers gardens with Vietnamese honeymoon couples.
